“Our original plan to simply have our kitchen cabinets painted went right out the window after our first visit to MCK, and we are so happy it did! Susan and Tony were a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process, responded to my many emails and phone calls promptly, and Susan always made time to spend with us when we would randomly drop in. Because we mentioned that seeing their booth at the Home Show in Halifax a few weeks earlier was what prompted us to visit their showroom, we were unexpectedly offered the show special: a quartz countertop for the same price as laminate--something we likely would not have been able to consider otherwise--and although they had lots of suggestions, they always respected our choices and not once did they try to upsell their products. The most difficult part of the process was waiting for delivery, and I was very nervous about the installation. We had just repainted the room and laid new floor tiles, and my experience with installers has been that they aren't always gentle with their surroundings. Jake and Mustafa were wonderful! They arrived on time, laid down a bunch of heavy mats and immediately got to work. They were pleasant and respectful, and patient with my many questions. Honestly, they worked like a well-oiled machine, and before we knew it, there was a kitchen where four bare walls had been. Our job was likely quite a small one for them, but you’d never have known it by the way we were treated by the folks at MCK. Still to come are the backsplash and countertop and those guys have some big shoes to fill! Thank you MCK Kitchens for making our dream come true.“
