Highly recommend this company! As someone moving from NS to BC I was anxious about costs and transparency. Not only did the owner communicate in a timely fashion, he immediately updated the estimate when United Van Lines let him know that a shuttle service would be required on the delivery end. (my destination address is on a narrow laneway)For someone on a budget, this communication was greatly appreciated.

I wanted to write this review to thank everyone at Burgess Transfer and Transport moving, an affiliate with United Van Lines, as they were all very helpful and professional in their service to us for our move from East Coast to Western Canada. I especially want to thank Graham Burgess, who went above and beyond to work with us to plan and execute our move. My husband and I were really hesitant about hiring a moving company as we have heard of lots of bad experiences with movers. After our move, we know who we will hire whenever we move again. From the phone assessment to the moment our things were delivered to our new house, these guys did not fail to impress. They were professional, polite and fast.
