Helping Nature Heal
“Rosmarie Lohnes is a wonderful teacher. She helps you understand the natural processes of how a shoreline “works” -- how the sediment moves along a hardened edge, how plants capture and hold soil, and what shoreline vegetation should look like. She suggests how to help a shoreline withstand sea level rise and increased storm vigor. On request, she prepares a plan to carry out and maintain remediation work. In other words, she suggests ways to Help Nature Heal. I treasure Rosemarie's wisdom and advice.”
