This place isn't a vet. It's a joke. Take your animals someplace where people actually care about your pets and not that dollar. I had to give 1star and it isn't even worth that. This vet needs to permanently close down.

I called today to make an appointment. A deposit is required over the phone before your pet sees a doctor. I have always paid this vet! Why treat people this way? Lousy way of doing business. I mentioned that I would drive the cat to Socorro before I deal with this kind of treatment....the desk person was more than fine with that action. IM A FORMER CUSTOMER.

Well my opinion thinking that Arenas is a good vet went to not so much. My dog had a bump on her cheek under her eye. I brought her in and Dr All red stepped in for about 2 mins. He looked at the bump, lifted her lip and said I needed to schedule a dental for an extraction that she has an abscess. He put her on antibiotics then 10 days later I brought her in for the extraction. I go to pick her up and the vet assistant tells me he cleaned her teeth and did not see any infection in her mouth that the antibiotic did its job. Well google tooth abscess on a dog, antibiotics are just a way to bring an infection down they do not reach the tooth root! I said yes to blood & x-rays! So now I've made an appointment at another vet and my poor little girl will have to go under anesthesia again. Maybe Dr Allred didn't remember the 2 min visit prior why she was there. Honestly your office staff really are not friendly anymore either. I haven't been greeted or seen a smile in a while. The whole office is burnt out which means you don't get the care that your dog needs. So I will be trying the Ark in Socorro.

Vet was not very nice didn't take even a second to get aquatinted with our dog then when pet snapped him out of fear the man acted as if he's a bag dog. Na have some manners in your profession. He never looked any one in the eye or even face when speaking. Just very unsatisfied overall.

They took very good care of my dog. We love our pets and it's always scary to have them go under anesthesia. The results were phenomenal, though. He had five teeth extracted and that horrible odor coming from his mouth is gone. He's 12 years old and act as if he's six again. So, if you're thinking of having your dog's teeth cleaned, and are skeptical because of the anesthetic, don't be. It was the best thing I could ever do for my best friend. And they were very inexpensive, as well.

Do not have dental done here. My dogs gums have looked horrible since the cleaning. Iโ€™m having to go to a different veterinarian to deal with what was done. This vet also lied to me when we had his gums checked at his vaccination appointment. He knew there was a problem but gave an excuse. He should have admitted it was a problem. He caused.
