Mountain Home Health Care and Hospice has been providing home health, comfort care/hospice, private duty, and personal care services to the community since 1975. The business is staffed by physical, speech, and occupational therapists, nurses, CNAs, and non-medical care providers. Clients praise the excellent service, kind and patient staff, and the therapists' expertise in helping them regain independence and recover from various medical conditions.
My experience with MHC to date has been with my husband and mom and all was good. My first personal experience, recently, was upon discharge from the hospital for severe spinal pain. I found the staff to be prompt, knowledgeable and, compassionate. Of particular note was my intake PT, Shelby and my PTA, Anna who was AMAZING. What an incredible resource in our small town. Thanks, MHC! I can’t recommend you enough.
After a fall in which my body was traumatized and one arm was broken, I began to recover at home with the help of Anna Kelly, a physical therapist from Mountain Home Health Care. It was the best experience with physical therapy I've ever had. Anna guided me through steps of recovery with wisdom and compassion. The wisdom was expressed in the careful pacing and sequencing toward improvement she led me through. The compassion was her listening to my expressions of difficulty and gently motivating me to continue. I am so grateful to Anna Kelly for the help she gave me.
From the day I was released from the hospital, which was a Saturday, Mountain Home Health was by my side with nurses, great physical therepists, and even an occupational therapist. You all helped me so much to regain my independence! Truly a blessing to have care in my home when it was needed.
Harvey, Anna, Shelby, Carol, and Sarah were all amazing. Thank you all!
