El Centro Family Health provides attentive and caring service, with respectful nurse practitioners and friendly front desk staff. However, the clinic faces significant challenges due to being incredibly short-staffed, leading to difficulties answering phones and long waits. There is high turnover among medical providers, which impacts continuity of care. While the office staff and physicians do a great job, support from management has been insufficient, affecting overall patient service during these difficult times.
Four Physician Assistants no longer with this office as of 5/14/2024 with an additional 2 leaving by 8/1/2024. The office staff and physicians at El Centro Taos do a great job!!! Unfortunately they are not supported by whatever entity manages these offices. The turnaround is never ending causing failure in quality healthcare for the patients.
I'm giving two stars instead of one because my doctor is excellent. But they don't answer their phone. You can call back over and over and it just rings. There's no voicemail. I see I'm not the only one complaining about this. It's TERRIBLE.
I’ve been going here for 10 years. They are always attentive, the nurse practitioners are always respectful and extremely caring and courteous, the front desk staff are extremely friendly even though they are always swamped. All in all I give it 4 star just because I wish I had an actual MD at times, not just a NP
