I was greeted at the door, let me know they were accepting walk-ins and the time estimated for my turn. The Barber who attended me was TAZ and he looks like he takes pride in his work, in fact as I looked at the other barbers you could see it in their eyes and faces they care about how you look. “I was a walk in, decided to give them a try. Had a young kid as my barber, he knew how to handle himself but I think there was a miscommunication between us. I wanted a 0 buzz cut all the way around which he did no issue. I then wanted a straight blade shave on the sides of my face preserving my goatee, trim the mustache a bit and define the line for the goatee. You can only fo so much at home right??
I ended up with basically a fade into the goatee. It looks good just wasn't exactly what I wanted. I didnt want to waste the kids time as there were other people waiting so I accepted it, like I said it looked good. So a simple buzz cut and half shave costed me $100. I feel that price tag is very high for a steam towel, shave and cut. Back home I spend $60 on the same thing. Was told the package came with a shot, never saw that.
The shop was clean. It looks nice. They have compressed air to help clean up.
As a walk in, I did not have to wait long which is always nice.
One huge thing that bothered me was there was no wash on the deluxe service. I had to go straight home to shower before continuing my chores. I've never had this kind of service without a wash.“
