Glenda King probably saved my hiking career. I had posterior tibial tendonitis so bad I could barely walk. I’m a marathoner and long-distance backpacker.She told me what I absolutely did not want to hear (no weight bearing for 10 + weeks). Thank god I was desperate enough to follow her advice. To the letter. I am back to my long-distance hiking because of her.FYI: This is the podiatrist the physical therapists send their family and friends to. SO grateful my PT, after seeing me getting worse and worse under the care of a different podiatrist, quietly (and off the record) finally told me “You need to go see Glenda King.”
Dr. King is the kindest and most capable doctor I've seen in years. I came to her after lacerating an extensor tendon on my foot. Dr. King scheduled me the day after my injury, and helped me receive a rapid and accurate diagnosis for an injury in which time is of the essence in getting a good repair. She also ensured that I was operated on by another excellent surgeon the following week as she was going to be out of the office. She then followed up on every step of the process, even though she was no longer being paid to do so. I would strongly recommend this office to anyone looking for an excellent and caring foot specialist!
Let me start off by saying I have never left a review for a doctor (good or bad) but I feel it is important to share my experience with Dr. King. Dr. Glenda King is the most professional, kind, understanding, and sincere Doctor that I have ever seen. I have been seeing Dr. King for over 3 years now with an Achilles tendon issue. She has been treating my Achilles for major pain in the hopes of it getting better and to not have surgery. Unfortunately, while on a camping trip I ruptured my tendon. I called her office immediately to find out what I should do. She called me back within 5 minutes. She had her staff work me in the following day. She was able to get me scheduled for surgery asap. The tendon ruptured in 2 places and where it detached is rare so it ended up being major surgery. I now see her every week to change my bandage and for her to check on the progress. She has called me personally during the week and even on weekends to check on me. She goes above and beyond for her patients. I want to assure those reading the poor reviews regarding her staff that she now has new staff and they are wonderful! They call back when they say they will, they know you when you walk in and they are professional. Please take the older reviews for what they are, "older", and know that the staff has changed. I would recommend Dr. King's office to anyone who is in need of a professional, caring Podiatrist.
