About Eldorado Hotel and Spa
The Eldorado Hotel & Spa is a beautiful establishment that offers underground parking with a daily fee, providing bottles of water in rooms and from the front desk. It has a happy hour in the restaurant, a separate bar and lounge area, and a 3rd floor swimming pool with two hot tubs. The hotel is just one block from the old Town plaza, offering nearby activities such as tourist shopping, museums, and restaurants. The bar, bartender, and service are excellent, offering fantastic margaritas. The restaurant has outstanding food and service, with a wonderful atmosphere enhanced by live music that complements the experience. The hotel has a friendly and welcoming staff, ensuring a great stay. Rooms are very spacious with a shower and restroom, and housekeeping is excellent. The location is fantastic, with a view of the city and attentive communication from staff. Guests appreciate the pet-friendly policy and the valet service. Overall, the hotel provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience, making it a perfect choice for exploring Santa Fe.
Wonderful accommodations and the restaurant is Outstanding!!! Exploring Sante Fe is very much encouraged, but you have an exquisite restaurant with excellent food and service in house !!!

I noticed there were numerous complaints about the warm rooms. All hotel rooms in Santa Fe are hot. Turn off the heat. That should cool it. If that is not enough, stay at a motel. The direct contact to the outside keeps the room arctic. The rooms are huge. There is a dead space of 80 square feet, a luxury in Santa Fe. It is also pet friendly, which explains the simplicity of the furnishings. Great location. I was told a microwave would be placed in my room. That didn't happen. Don't tease me. Valet service is great.
On the first day, the light bulb was blown when I walked into my room, my room key card stopped working because the door lock battery died. We had to wait outside of the room for engineering to come and recharge the battery. The phone was visibly unsanitary and did not work for over 24hrs even though we reported it twice to the front desk AND the manager. The phone was eventually fixed but house keeping never cleaned it. I showed a pic of the unsanitary phone to the manager who agreed. I was not offered compensation, an upgrade or even a bottle of extra water for the inconveniences. No one answers the front desk phone after certain hours. The manager was disappointing....read full review
