I really like the concept that Hype Hair Studio uses to have a set price and no tipping. Zaida is my stylist, and I really like her. She is very responsive to the needs of her clients, makes sure the client is happy with the results, and is skilled at her profession. It is a friendly and happy place.
I don’t change hair stylists often, but I will definitely be returning to Hype. Mari did a fabulous job on my short, asymmetrical cut, and I couldn’t be happier. The salon is lovely with a welcoming atmosphere, and it’s close to my home. That last thing may not be that important because I’d drive across town in traffic to have Mari cut my hair. ?
I've had very positive experiences with The Hype. I think Hillary is completely awesome and I love her upbeat attitude and the attention and care she gives. She definitely wants everyone to feel as great as they can when they leave her chair. Kris the owner (sorry if that name is spelled wrong) has been super kind and helpful as well, and the receptionists have always been friendly. I appreciate the extra care information they have been happy to provide with my hair care struggles!
