“Thankful for old school driving. They have given us a structured, and safe placed to send all 7 of our kids, to properly and thoroughly be educated in driving. Just want to say thank you Alfredo. We would recommend old school driving Ed to everyone. Hope to send my grandkids one day“

High School, 148 Spartan Alley, Bernalillo“Overall, Coach Al's Driving school was a great experience. All of the driving instructors were involved with the military. The way the school works is that there is classwork and behind-the-wheel time. In total everyone will get at least 4 hours of drive time, with a few lucky people getting 5 hours drive time. The time behind the wheel is unique to coach Al's and makes a huge difference when learning to drive. I found that when I was instructed on what mistakes I was making in the car I could remember them better when I was taught in class. The class instruction mostly consisted of bookwork and videos corresponding to each chapter. The main exception to this is the 2 days of DWI training required by the state. DWI training consisted of watching videos of DWI victims and reading some book chapters. However, the training also consisted of having a APD officer speak to us about DWI and work in the field. This experience helped me be more informed about DWI and bad driving cases and was the pinnacle of my time at CADS. I give this school 4 stars because Coach Eddie will sometimes act in a politically incorrect manner and may offend some people without realising. He often called women babes in my class and accused me of having a foot fetish due to an explanation I offered on why feet may be a distraction when driving. Despite this, he strives to make everyone feel comfortable in class but may struggle to remember what makes people feel comfortable and what offends them. CADS is perfect for new drivers wanting behind-the-wheel time and aren't super picky about politically correct teachers.“

2745 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque“Both of my boys went here, I like their fast track driving portion because my son has actually been driving since he was 13, with an adult, of course, but we just never felt that six months of driving was good enough and wanted our kids safe and so we taught them on a stick shift vehicle before they ever learn to drive an automatic. So when it came time to drive with the instructor, our kids already had a considerable amount of practice driving. And don’t worry we didn’t take them on public roads. These were back dirt roads that they practice on until they had permits. We got orange cones taught them how to parallel park how to park regular how to back in back out. We also taught them 99% of accidents are preventable even when the law says it not their fault. It usually still is because they didn’t see them coming.“

“Jenkins Drivers Ed is a wonderful place for people to learn how to drive. I have sent 3 of my kids through the program. They are understanding of all learning abilities and work with the student to achieve success. They also are very educational in how to keep safe on the road and teaching great habits.“
