It is absolutely one of my favorite places to visit as much as possible. Very relaxing soak. I love that you can control the temperature of your water. Also really enjoy the fact that it is private and you don't need a swimsuit.
My friend and I reserved the day before so we could get tubs side by side. I've never been to a hot springs where you can control the heat of your pool and have the privacy of this place. There are privacy curtains to block the tub from the other units and a curtain that can be pulled between the two tubs. Just a note for people who value privacy:
It's best to go with someone you're comfortable with since the curtains are good but not the best as they blow with breeze from the windows.

I thoroughly enjoyed my private tub at the bath house. The tubs are funky but clean, and you can adjust the temperature of the water to your liking. You can use salts and approved bath products, so it really is more like a bath and soak. The healing mineral waters are the focus here, not necessarily a "luxurious" spa experience. It has a simple, dorm like feel. However, the kindness and good energy of the staff is a wonderful part of the healing experience. If you want to enjoy Jemez Springs waters in privacy, you'll enjoy the bath house. You can also get massages there. I suggest trying both the bath house and the outdoor Springs.
