May someone tell me about this health center? Why does it take SOOOOO long to get called, even just for the Triage in ER.
Hello people, this IS an emergency room (ER). From what I know, EMERGENCY IS FOR EMERGENCY, NOT to keep patients waiting in pain and misery for HOURS. Get the patients seen ASAP!! The tech that did the labs to draw blood couldn’t do it, got it on my clothing and made a mess. I requested someone else draw the blood.
And, Why are the departments constantly moving around to different places. This place needs a major uplift and organization. When is the NEW hospital supposed to be here?

I wanted to thank every staff member at Gallup Indian Medical Center for being a great ambassador for the healthcare community. I was treated with dignity and respect from records to reception to the emergency room. Thank you Kordell, Rachael, Edie, receptionist, and Dr. Parker. I greatly appreciate each and every one of you. The entire facility was a positive environment and a complete 180 from nearly a decade ago I last received treatment there. Again thank you so much.

Tonight was the first time a nurse got my iv line in and fast Xavier was so professional and keep me calm and told me I was going to be ok tht we would get it going and he did it took him one try.. I have bruising from tht other nurses tht poke me a million times … thanks XAVIER! God bless
