Recently I had a tenant who returned from the grocery store around 8:30 pm on a very cold Saturday night only to face a malfunctioning lock. I called Farmington Lock and Safe thinking I would get a voicemail and since I was out of town, I had no plan B. Much to my surprise, I was greeted by the very friendly and calm voice of Melissa. My mail chauvinist side told me this was an answering service and that there still was going to be a serious time lag as I thought about my tenant shivering outside with groceries in hand. As Melissa began asking questions, it became immediately evident that I was speaking to a very competent locksmith. The long and short is that she arrived at the apartment and had lock drilled out within a very short time. Payment was handled over the phone and the tenant was one happy (shivering) camper. Great to see such superb customer service does still exist in the fast pace and sometimes impersonal world we live in today. All you "ole guys" out there like me, there is no gender requirement for being a great locksmith. Melissa knows her stuff. Thank you Melissa and manager Chris for having the sense to hire her. This Is What I Learned Tip #1 - Always have duplicate keys made by a locksmith for guaranteed accuracy. Tip #2 - The so-called "smart" deadbolts are not always the smart choice.
Outstanding service. We were locked out of our RV on a Sunday afternoon. They were here in less than 30 minutes. Very professional, verified our ID and registration. Price was reasonable too.
