This is the best vets office in the East Mountains! I’ve taken my beloved Mastiff to Dr. Averhoff at Vista Larga for almost 11 years, since she was a puppy. Yesterday I had to make the toughest decision to get her humanely euthanized and Dr. Averhoff and her tech were there to tell my girl how loved she was and to comfort me. My pup passed in a room of people who cared about her very much and I’ll be eternally grateful for that! If you want a vet that truly cares about your pets, I highly recommend Vista Larga Animal Hospital!

I love the dedication and friendly staff. Dr. Averhoff has made a wonderful difference in my older cats health and with her guidance he is doing well again. Nice office and professional staff.

They treated our Buddy boy so well. My mom was very anxious taking their dog in as he had a pretty traumatic experience at a different vet. Dr. Coleman did his surgery (hip luxation), and when Buddy was picked up my mom was so pleased to discover he was not fearful like he was at the last place. It was obvious they treated him well and he had a comfortable experience. The place isn't just jam packed with people and pets (unlike somewhere else). Here, it was much more appropriately paced, making it far less stressful for the animals being seen. Everything was explained so well.
