We had to rush our little Boston to the Village Vet late one afternoon. It was almost their closing time, but they waited for us to get there. X-rays were taken because she was acting like something was caught in her throat. The X-rays didn’t show anything. Everything else was normal. She apparently had eaten something that irritated her throat. An allergy shot and a couple additional medications and we were done. She is fine with no more gagging. The doctors and support staff at the Village Vet are second to none. It was a scary situation for a while, but she was seen immediately upon our arrival and no time was wasted. I love this clinic & all the staff! Everyone is so friendly!! The vets are knowledgeable and personable, & it is easy to get an appointment. I switched to this clinic when I was dealing with a dying horse & my regular vet (at a different clinic) refused to come see her. The on call vet from Village Vet (whom I had never utilized) came and spent 2 hours caring for her. I immediately transferred my animal care to Village Vet and have been with them for years now!
I recently took my Sphynx cat and Yorkie for their routine shots, and the experience was exceptional. From the moment we walked into the clinic, the staff was warm and welcoming. They treated my pets like family, making both of them feel at ease. Dr. McCallister took the time to clean my cats ears.
The vet was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything about the vaccinations, addressing my concerns with patience. What stood out the most was how gentle they were during the process.
