Was trying to get an appointment for my first tattoo and had so many bad experiences with artists until I came across true grit. I was greeted by Emerald when I went to try and get an appointment and she was very sweet right away. She got my sister, mom, and me all booked for 2 weeks later. She was very accommodating to all of us and was very understanding. She made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. She has amazing technique and is incredibly talented. I love my tattoo and will definitely be going to her for any other tattoo I even think about and I also recommend her to everyone!!

Johnny did an amazing job on a tribute piece for my late cousin. If im ever back in the 505, I will be making another appointment. Clean and professional. The shop is way cool as well!!

Recently, Johnny completed a group remembrance tattoo for my wife who passed away, he treated us with the utmost respect, and the tattoo turned out amazing on all who got it. Will definitely be back for more and to finish a sleeve!
