I came in during a time when she herself was clearly hurting, and even though she had every reason to take the day off and focus on her own heart, she still chose to show up for me with patience, care, and incredible integrity.
I’m a very passive person and wasn’t going to speak up when my dress wasn’t exactly what I had asked for. Instead of making me feel uncomfortable, she created a space where it felt completely okay to be honest. She encouraged me to say something, listened without defensiveness, and then went above and beyond to make it right.
