Serafian's was founded in 1987 by Geof and Connie Uhle, with the help of famous rug expert and author Carolyn Bosly. Rug enthusiasts Joseph and Elizabeth Gabel bought the business in 1997, and, in 2003 Serafian's moved to its new showroom at 1421 Wyoming Blvd NE. Since that time Serafian's has built the most complete rug cleaning facility in New Mexico and has become the state's largest rug washing business.
