About Route 66 Fine Line Tattoo
Route 66 Fine Line Tattoo is a tried and true walk-in shop with a wide range of experienced artists. Since 1987, they have been serving Albuquerque, making them the oldest shop in the area. Artists like Jesso, Marlena, and Kylee offer expertise in various styles for every kind of person. The shop is open Monday-Saturday, with extended hours during the summer. The staff is known for their excellent customer service, with accommodating front desk staff like Sol and artists who take the time to understand clients' needs. The shop's atmosphere is both upbeat and chill, with private rooms for artists and a decent sound buffer. Reviewers have praised the shop's artists for their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make clients feel at ease.
Walked in to see about a tat and came out with an appointment. The staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. John Howard did a fabulous job and for a 3 hour tat it sure didn't seem that long. He is so kind and engaging.
I love that tat and we will definitely go back.
Sol at the front desk was super cool with helping get my appointment set up. They provided me with links to look through the artist's work so I could make a choice, then facilitated scheduling an appointment and took a deposit. I came back a week later to get my tattoo from Marléna. She was fantastic about working with me on the design, and made great conversation while she worked. She's truly a perfectionist in the most positive sense of the word. Seems like the artists Al have good rapport with each other, and the general vibe of the place was both upbeat *and* chill. The artists have their own rooms, so there's a sense of privacy and a decent sound buffer, which I liked. I love my new tattoo (this is my 7th one!) and I'm so grateful I got to have it done here.
The guys that run this shop have not forgot the art of customer service. I got my first tattoo here last week and the artist made me feel at ease. I will be making this my one and only shop for ink. Thanks guys!?
