Of all the places in Albuquerque that have flotation tanks, Lumen is, by far, my favorite. The facility is clean and inviting. The tanks themselves are pristine and their rooms are well-stocked. Of note is the calming environment they have taken steps to create when you step out of the areas that contain their services. There is a small, calming lounge you are free to relax in after you have completed your treatment, complete with tea, seltzer waters, mood lighting, and various types of reading materials.
The staff are so amazing here that I sometimes book extra sessions just to hang out with them. They’re knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and professional. The facility is always in tip top shape, too. I love it here!
I had a 90-minute medical massage today with Lisa Matteson, and I’ll definitely be scheduling another appointment soon. The massage was expertly tailored to address my specific needs. It’s the first massage I’ve had that completely relieved my neck pain (and I get massages frequently at various places). I’m always beyond pleased with the service at Lumen. I’ve also experienced their float sessions in the past, which were equally amazing. The establishment is bright, clean, and comforting, with a lovely scent throughout. I look forward to trying more of their services and would highly recommend Lumen to anyone.
