warning!!! do not hire marcus sotelo for anything!! he has no conscious or work ethic. he took 500.00 from my parents, an elderly couple, one who is almost 90 years old, a stage 4 cancer patient, is paralyzed and is in hospice at home and the other who is a 90 year old lady in bad health. they must sell their home so we needed to repair a block wall in their back yard. he contracted with us and took their money (500.00) but never came to do the work. he provided excuse after excuse after many attempts to have him hold up the contract. i have reported him to the bbb and will continue to report him to anyone and everyone i can including the police. please pass this along and please do not give this terrible man your hard earned money. also please contact me if you wish to join me as i will go to the media if this is not resolved so no other innocent folks are taken advantage of like my folks.

Do not hire Marcus Ediel Sotelo/High Quality Landscapes under any circumstances. Like many others, he scammed me and my fiance for work he was supposed to do back in April. Mr. Sotelo initially seemed very nice and motivated when he quoted us our contract. However, he asked for half of the money in our contract up front for expenses. I made the rookie mistake of agreeing as this was my first experience with a contractor. Clearly I was an easy mark.Mr. Sotelo partially finished one task (out of 6-7), started on another, then asked for more money for renting heavy equipment. Marcus Ediel Sotelo is a scam and con artist. It looks like we will be filing a civil lawsuit against the alleged company. Everyday he said he would be here between 9:00 and 10:00. He was a no show. I would call and he would lie and say he was in his way. He made a huge mess of things around my house. He just kept wanting more money for our backyard that we did not say we would do at this time. Full of false promises. He gave a bid of $5000. Then $3000. Then $2000. For the backyard. We just want the front and side yard done. He begged and said he would even take payments. I have some very bad feelings about this guy. He is not honest and has no integrity! As of now he owes us $3000. I will update if he returns the money.
