My local vet told me I'd need to have my cryptorchid colt gelded at a facility with a surgical suite in case the other testicle wasn't within easy reach. I put a call in to Dr. Dralle and he called me back that evening. He was great. He thoroughly explained the situation with my horse and answered all my questions, and explained the difference in cost depending on what he found. He said it could be done anytime but would be best if I waited until after fly season was over. So that Fall I made the appointment and took my colt (20 mos.old) in to be gelded.
