Scoliosis ABQ is the only place that was able to help me address and prevent ongoing and debilitating back pain due to my scoliosis. I tried everything: Epidural, steroid, cortisone and facet injections, Radiofrequency neuralysis, massage of every kind, dry needling, acupuncture, yoga, ice, prolotherapy, tapping, LED light therapy, turmeric, all kinds of drugs, even narcotics, chiropractic care, tens units, heat and traction, including many different versions of physical therapy. I adore the PT specialists here as they are the only ones in the state with the specialization I need. The front desk staff is phenomenal and I couldn’t be happier (even though PT HURTS!!)
I've had back pain for years and it had begun to really limit my activities in the past year. I have a mild scoliosis and I've been losing some height over the years due to osteopenia of my spine. I'm a retired physical therapist and I'm very familiar with doing back stabilization exercises but ABQ Scoliosis and Spine takes exercise to a whole different level with the Scroth Method. By focusing specifically on your spinal curvature the exercises are targeted and functional. After two days of doing the exercises I had significant improvement in my back pain!
