Great experience at this salon. The ladies attitudes are so positive. Whether they are interacting with you or someone else, you can’t help but to laugh and just enjoy the atmosphere. Big shout out to Jen, her vibe is amazing. I was so stressed out due to my daughter’s hair issue and little did she know, her attitude helped change my own. I loved my first experience and will definitely be back

I’ve been going back and forth about writing this review, but I want to share my honest experience. I was really hopeful after reading so many glowing reviews—I thought I had found my new go-to salon. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. I wouldn’t recommend booking an appointment here for any important events, and I absolutely couldn’t see myself going back for any reason at all.
I scheduled a last-minute morning appointment before a black-tie gala. While I understand that timing wasn’t ideal, I came in prepared with inspiration photos. I wanted a slightly messy low bun—something romantic, elegant, and soft. What I ended up with was very different: a slicked-back, low, double-braided twisted bun with curls in the front. After nearly four hours at the salon, I didn’t have time to make adjustments, as I had to drive straight up to New York.
When I first got in the car, I actually felt excited. I even FaceTimed a friend to show her. We both agreed it wasn’t at all the style from the inspiration photos, but it still looked pretty. I was extremely careful on the drive—no windows down, kept the car cool, and avoided any air blowing directly on my hair. About an hour in, I stopped for coffee and was shocked to see the style already falling apart. The slicked-back portion had started separating, looked overly crunchy, and just... awkward. Bobby pins were literally falling out of the bun.
I didn’t panic—I figured I could fix it once I got to my place in New York. But by the time I arrived, the bun had become a total frizz ball. I was freaking out. There was no saving it. Thankfully, I had a curling iron and supplies on hand. I had to completely take it apart (which took forever because of the insane number of pins) and just curl my hair the best I could—with only two hours left before the event. Mind you, I still had to do my makeup and get dressed.
It was incredibly stressful and honestly, so disappointing. Not because of the money, but because of the wasted time, the frustration, and the last-minute chaos before such an important occasion. I truly wanted to love this salon, and while everyone there was very kind, based on my experience, I just can’t recommend it.
I thought about including photos, but honestly—its just too embarrassing.

I’ve been going to Joelle for almost a year now, she also did my hair for my wedding! Everyone there always does such an amazing job, but Joelle and Sarah are my favorite! They care, they take the time to listen, and are knowledgeable. One thing I love about Joelle is that if I want something weird and crazy she will always make it happen for me and I leave LOVING my hair and feeling positive about myself. That’s what it’s about!
