We were looking to upgrade our 3 AC unites and 2 heating systems to more efficient services. JDS was one of the 5 companies that we had come out and give estimates for us. What stood out the most to me was the tailored analysis that we got of our system. From specifics on the compatibility of our thermostats, to analyzing each individual unit to say whether it was really worth upgrading (one AC unit would not have been worth the cost) to an actual breakdown of cost in terms of what to replace them with. I contacted JDS HVAC back in April before the summer rush because my central AC was taking too long to cool the house. Joe came by the next day, inspected the system, and quickly diagnosed that the AC needed a cleaning and a coolant recharge.
The real test came this past week with the 100+ degree temperatures we were expecting. The house cooled down much faster than before, and I’ve already noticed lower electricity usage when compared to last year.
I’ll definitely call JDS again next spring for routine maintenance. Highly recommended for fast, honest, and effective work!
Willy and Oswaldo came out to perform a tune up and inspection for me in our home. Truly the best - extremely friendly and knowledgeable with none of the salesy or shadiness you can get from other companies. They are my new go to HVAC people and would recommend them to anyone looking for some expert help in the Westfield area.
