I am so happy I decided to make an appointment at Blende. I had been suffering from a terrible reaction to my eye makeup which, as a stage performer, was really challenging. The makeup at Blende is vegan and I have had absolutely no reaction to it at all. Beyond that, it was so much fun to watch owner Keira Karlin mix up custom colors for me which I absolutely love. The lipstick has incredible staying power and best of all, doesn’t bleed into the lines around my mouth which, as a 50-something year old, is really saying something. Went to Blende to have makeup done for my daughters Bat Mitzvah. Keira did mine, my daughters and mothers makeup and did such an amazing job. None of us looked overdone. The perfect look for each of us was achieved despite the different ages. We also purchased some custom cover ups and a lipstick which was fun! Would highly recommend Blende to do makeup for your next event!

I attended a makeup lesson party for my friend's birthday. I didn't know makeup much so I was nervous at first but the instructors were very welcoming and informative! They were also open to making adjustments like different colors for my more experienced friends. Papers and pens were provided too to take notes, which I appreciated as a newbie.
