I dropped off a dress to have it hemmed/shortened. The dress had beading details and I knew it was a complicated job so I agreed to pay $85 for it. I picked the dress up on the day of the event and once I got it home, realized they did not hem the bottom, instead they did a scissor cut across the hemline. The work was neat and my daughter was still able to wear the dress that night without issue. However, I was extremely upset that they didn’t mention to me that they couldn’t hem it and then adjust the price accordingly.
