Recently I came across a review for the salon I frequent and was shocked to read the content. However,the review was referring to a salon at a different address altogether, and in particular the salon I attend has a sole proprietor, no co-ownership with a sister as review posted.
The Glow Hair salon, located in West New York, NJ on Park Avenue, is well deserving of a 5 🌟 review. The owner/stylist Is truly talented and professional, always taking the time to listen to what you want and provide expert recommendations to ensure the best results. My hair has never looked better! The attention to detail, high-quality products, and personalized service make this salon stand out.
It was disappointing to see a review that didn’t reflect the actual experience at this establishment. Based on the other reviews you see here, the average experience is excellent.

I am giving a review on the hair salon, Glow Hair Design on Center St. In Westwood NJ. I paid ahead of time for a balayage hair color, cut and blowout. I did not know of the shop ahead of time, that was my first mistake. It was quite a dump. When I arrived I showed the stylist a video of the EXACT color I wanted . I told her not to worry about doing the cut and blowout that came with the offer and just concentrate on the color. She decides to do a foil even though I insisted not to. She is an older woman so obviously did not know how to do a balayage and should not have advertised for it. She assured me that the way she does foil color, the results would come out as I wanted. I still did not agree as she continued anyway. If I hadn’t paid ahead of time I would have left. I also told her I did not want a rinse that I wanted the color to come up a white color without a rinse but as I was in the shampoo sink she added the rinse then charged me an extra $35.00 for the rinse which only costs five dollars. I gave her a tip out of respect as a hairdresser myself. The color and results of the foil was everything I DID NOT want. The color is yellow, the highlights with the balayage method that I wanted turned out all blonde with the foil. I was trying to grow out the blonde and have just blonde highlights in the light brown hair color that I had previously achieved myself. Now I have to start all over again And grow out this blonde which will take months. I am furious. To top it off the place was not nice, the stylist smelled and had bad breath and kept talking right into my face. The brush she used on me already had hair in it. The two stylists in the shop were the owners and sisters. They were nice people but It was a horrible experience. I just do not know what to do at this point. I am beyond upset and furious.

Hands down the best blow out in the area! I have been coming here religiously for one year. Prices are reasonable and very fair. The owner, Elizabeth and her employees are truly experts at what they do. The space is nice, modern and very clean. Dominican blowouts are the best. You will not regret coming here

Elizabeth is amazing! She gave me fantastic recommendations for warm gold highlights, and the result was even better than I imagined. I’m so happy with my hair and highly recommend her salon!

She cut my hair perfectly. Really, no exaggeration. My hair messy curly and she made my curls amazing. Even in the street people told me how beautiful is my hair. Thank you so much! I add some photos even just make it wet and applied some cream thats all.

Elizabeth is a joy. I had the best time with her at the salon and received a fantastic full head of highlights. I am a dirty blonde and she was able to make my highlights look effortlessly natural and beautifully sun-kissed. I highly recommend this salon to everyone.

Excellent haircut & great service! Elizabeth does a beautiful job, she's super friendly & honest, and takes walk-ins. She could charge twice the price for what she does.
