Without a doubt, this is who I call to take care of my loved ones. My family has been using Vander May for many years. When my father died in 2021, we were barely able to function. Cliff and Ken really went above and beyond to get us through the impossible. The compassion, patience and care they provided was truly unparalleled. Little thoughtful things that we hadn’t even asked for or expected. They embody professionalism, emotional intelligence and a willingness to provide true care. For how traumatic that loss was, the nexts steps felt so gentle thanks to them. They will always have my business.
We just had my mother-in-law's funeral at Vander May Colonial Funeral Home in Wayne, NJ. We cannot thank Rich, Elyse, Ken, and the entire staff enough for going above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. Their professionalism, warmth, congeniality, and hospitality well exceeded our expectations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!
Played keyboard/piano before and after service for many family, friends and others. This way the deceased can select what they want played and sung. Because the chapel seats quite a few people, we had services where the “whole congregation” sang. Just beautiful! I still perform at some funeral services here and there as well as an ongoingorganist in my own church locally.
