I chose to have a somewhat unconventional funeral this time And Bob who was our director was nothing short of incredible! There was no detail he said no to. Consequently I felt like we gave my husband a send off he would have been happy with. The room was ample in size for our large group, clean, bright, well maintained and beautiful! I cannot recommend The Higgins Home for Funerals enough. After my mom passed, my family wasn't even sure what kind of service we wanted for her, and how it would happen. We met with Bob at Higgins, just to get a sense of everything we need to do, but after the meeting, his care and compassion and attention to detail made it clear this was the business to go with. They help with the eulogy detail, creating a wonderful tribute video with all the pictures we provided that are easily uploaded onto their website, printed programs, mass cards, and even the simulcasting of the memorial service at their location was all arranged seamlessly. Usually I write about the usual things to review - restaurants, hotels, and tourist sites. This one is different. Mom passed at 88 years old a couple of weeks ago. The team at Higgins Home for Funerals led by owners Bob and his brother Steve were just wonderful. Our family was deeply grieving, lost, and feeling vulnerable. Bob and his kind compassionate team carefully and with great care and kindness helped us through every decision and detail with our and our Mom’s best interests in mind.
