I wanted to express my thanks for the patience, kindness, humor, and love with which you treated our dog, Amber, during her bout with ear infections and an elevated level in her liver. My little darling was impossible. She would growl, squirm, and refuse treatment both at home and at your office. Dr. Moore and Amy were absolutely wonderful with a difficult dog in an impossible situation. They were confident that we would not need to sedate Amber and used a calming room, gentle encouragement, and firm restraint to get Amber the help she needed. I feel like we have our dog back, both physically and emotionally.

We took my senior cat here when she suddenly stopped eating. They were able to get us an appointment, a next-day ultrasound, and continual care until we unfortunately had to euthanize her. Dr. Moore in particular stayed very close, emailing us and staying up to date on our cat's care. The decision to euthanize was carefully thought out. At no point were we rushed or pushed to do unnecessary tests. When we did euthanize, the team took great care, allowing us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Moore and the whole staff for their care for our Sophie during her last days, and will take any future pets we have here.

last week I took my 13 year old lab and my 1 1/2 yr old rescue beagle and both of them fell madly in love with Dr. Santo She instinctively knew that the old guy was nervous on the floor and she called for a Yoga mat. The little beagle thought she was a Disney princess! Both dogs left happy and unstressed. We are now and forever patients of Bergen County Veterinary Center!!!
