I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. My card was charged without my authorization, and I was never notified beforehand about any alleged outstanding balance by email, phone call, or mail.
Charging a patient’s card without consent is completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, illegal. When handling patients’ financial and medical information, offices should operate with transparency, professionalism, and proper communication.
To make matters worse, there has been no follow-up from the office regarding this issue after I raised my concerns. The lack of communication, accountability, and care for patients is very concerning.
I have formally disputed the charge and requested documentation showing any authorization they claim to have. Patients deserve proper notice and communication before any charges are processed.
I hope management addresses these billing practices immediately so this does not happen to others.
