If I could give Anthony and Menorah Chapels 6 stars I would. He was incredible in dealing with a long-distance burial of my grandfather. Not only was he compassionate and helpful in making this an efficient and comforting process, but he also went above and beyond to communicate with the cemetery when there was a dispute over my grandfather's burial plot. He told us not to worry and worked extra hours with the cemetery to ensure my grandfather could be buried next to my grandmother as planned. We are so grateful for his presence during this difficult time in our life and can be at peace knowing our grandfather was in his care. I'm in the unique position of doing auxiliary work for this chapel, work which gives me the extended chance to see how they really are when the public's not around. All funeral homes are good with the families of the deceased, but these folks are just as professional and patient with one another and even with contractors like me. They're the same in private as in public - warm and caring. No yelling. Bottom line: Not phony. I've dealt with over 20 funeral homes, and this is the one I'd recommend most for its sincere vibe. Even the place is furnished unpretentiously, just like management and staff are.

It's a weird feeling to give a funeral home 5 starts, but Menorah Chapels in Millburn did a great job. My mother was a sr. citizen who passed away after a long illness. Vincent was the funeral director who handled it and he was so organized, even keel & he returned every telephone call when he said he would. He was highly professional. Menorah Chapels did an excellent job with the added burden of the COVID crisis. Two years before my mother's passing, we met at Menorah Chapels' office to discuss my mother's final wishes.
