Union City Animal Clinic

The staff at Union City Animal Clinic were so wonderful and helpful. There was a little bit of a wait time, but that is to be expected with any kind of doctor/vet appointment. They addressed all of my concerns and seemed to genuinely about my pet's health. :-)

Feeling super grateful after my appointment with both cats. They were so patient and communicated with me every step of the way. Clean location, caring front desk staff, I had an amazing experience I recommend for anyone looking for a local vet or one in general. Thank you!!

Well taken care of, I have been taking my cat for 3 years.

Don’t waste your time, the staff is incredibly rude, immature, and incompetent. I highly recommend “Edgewater Animal Hospital”, they are very kind and accommodating.

If you’re a new patient they make you call for an appointment the same day and if they don’t have appointments, they can’t schedule you. I work M-F so I specifically needed a Monday after 5pm appointment, which is why I called in advance. The gentleman that answered the phone hung up on me after I asked to speak to the supervisor. He said she’d call me tomorrow but didn’t take my name or number, so he clearly just wanted to hang up. I had to call back over 6 times to get through to someone and she put me on hold as soon as I explained what happened. I called back again, got the same guy and he kept talking over me even after me asking to let me finish at least 1 sentence. He said he “needs to make his point” to me and when I asked if he thinks this is professional customer service, he asked if I think this is “proper customer etiquette” and refused to give me his name constantly repeating “do you understand” when I simply wanted his name. Very rude and off putting, my friend recommended this place but I can’t imagine having to deal with them if your pet is sick and needs care. I now understand all the bad reviews.

Please train your employees on professionalism and at the very least having decent manners when they are customer facing. You just lost a good potential patient due to your employees childish behavior and clearly this is a common theme with other patients. Do better.

We trust Dr Zalis, she cares for our pet, takes her time to listen and share her opinions, it is priceless to have a Vet that cares, we love her. Great team!!! Highly recommand to pet owners.

I am a new patient to this clinic and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Zalis and the vet tech were very patient and kind when it came to my dog, who has a bit of a temper. I would recommend for vaccinations and annual check up.
