So the owner has been cutting hair there since he was 15 for his uncle. He now in his 70s. The man has been around so knows his way. I also went in my first time and while I was getting a haircut, another gentleman came in and handed him cash. He explained that gentleman was just here for a haircut and forgot money and that He gave that gentleman his first haircut when he was a kid. That man was in his 40s At that moment I realized the man doesn’t have an atm and it’s cash only. New to the area and didn't want to travel 2 hours to my regular barber. I was told to try Leo in TR and I'm glad I did. The look and feel of a real barber shop. A friendly hello as you walk in. It seems everyone walking in is happy to be there. I had my hair cut and my beard trimmed. I went in looking like a mess and came out looking good. This gentleman uses barber tools on a head like Rembrandt used paint brushes on a canvas. I just have him sign his work next time.

For an old school military low & tight, as solid as you can get.

Leo has been around more than anyone in Seaside & has seen and heard everything in the local area. Go just to have him school you on local history.

$15 adult cut isn’t going to be beat & he’s just over the bridge if coming from the beaches.

This might be the longest continuously-operating barbershop in New Jersey with just one owner. In fact this might be true for the entire Eastern seaboard.

Get a haircut piece of history under your belt.
