Monmouth Eye Care is an absolutely wonderful place with a great atmosphere. The facility is very clean, spacious, and updated with state of the art equipment. The staff is laid back, very helpful, and incredibly understanding. The receptionists are very kind both on the phone and in person, and the financial staff is also noted. The doctors are fantastic, excellent, and highly recommended. Dr. McGowan is young, brilliant, and immensely helpful, performing painless and quick cataract surgery. Dr. MacDonald is super thorough, proactive, extremely knowledgeable, and provides clear explanations. He is personal, professional, truthful, and frank, taking time to make patients feel at ease without rushing them. The team, including the fantastic surgery scheduler, guides patients through procedures and provides top-notch, state of the art care.
Dr. Macdonald and his entire team are all amazing. My entire family have been patients for over 20 years. I recently had cataract surgery and surgery to correct an astigmatism. The arrangements were handled professionally by Heidi and both operations went wonderfully. I always recommend this office to my friends.
Dr MacDonald has been my ophthalmologist for over 12 years. He is an upbeat, caring, problem solver. His staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and obviously happy in their jobs. He just did the second of my cataract surgeries and I couldn't be more pleased.
