For years, I was searching for a salon that made me feel comfortable. As a girl with extremely curly hair, I've experienced a ton of discrimination and have been turned away at the door by stylist who don't want to bother with my hair texture. I found Elite Beauty Lounge through a Groupon for a haircut and blow dry with a Junior Stylist. I fully expected this to be a one and done visit, as so many times before, however, I was wrong. I've now been coming to Elite Beauty Lounge for 3 years now. Kylie is a superstar stylist and I don't know what I would do without her! She always makes my hair look fabulous and has actually helped me get out of my comfort zone to try new styles and hair colors. I always look forward to coming into her salon, even if it's just for a trim.

At first, I was nervous since I was totally doing something different to my hair. I have never colored it and just got cuts every 6 months. I was very pleased with how my hair turned out and will be returning in the fall to change it up. The girls are also SO sweet and funny. It wasn't one of those awkward times where you sat in the chair quietly. We chatted the whole time and it felt so comfortable that my nerves went away. I can't wait to go back!
