Both the english and math instruction for SAT is really helpful. While a lot of people think you can self study the math section, having an instructor like Mr Singh saves you so much time, strengthens your weaknesses, and perfects your skills. The homework schedule is very well balanced with both math and english. The english instruction is also complete going over ever topic in detail. Overall, Rising Future takes a personal stake in your SAT exam and genuinely wants you to succeed.
Mr. Singh is very invested in the success of his students, and thoroughly adapts his curriculum and teaching methods to best suit each of his students. The SAT prep course in particular is structured very well, with lots of review material, lessons, and practice tests, and has consistently boosted student test scores. Many of my friends have seen improvement with their SAT scores, and I got a 1600 on my first try because of my time here.
My experience here was a mixed bag. The classes and SAT bootcamp helped me improve my scores, but they had hours of work even beyond the classroom. Mr. Singh can be pretty harsh and I remember him yelling at me/other students numerous times. The last conversation I had with Mr. Singh was at the fall of my Senior year telling my GPA wasn't strong enough and that I would have to spend even more time studying for the SAT. This did significant damage to my senior year grades. In the end I did receive an admission to a great college, but I feel like the 20 extra points on my score were not the deciding factor.
