My instructor, Day Stryker, was phenomenal every single time, without fail. We started on the first lesson with general education and skills related to driving, such as knowing where the different controls are and what they do, braking and accelerating, turning, speed control, among other things, such as pre-driving checklists. Additionally, she explained topics from Drivers' Education that I wasn't too confident in, helping me further understand exactly what driving is and what I would need to do. I highly recommend Safety First Driving School. Both of my daughters took lessons here — the older one during COVID and my younger daughter more recently — and each received patient, professional, and tailored instruction. The instructors built confidence with clear guidance, and the school was flexible and supportive throughout pandemic restrictions. They also have an option to use their car for the driving test, which made the process far less stressful; my younger daughter passed on her first attempt. Friendly staff, well-maintained vehicles, and excellent communication — a top choice for learner drivers.
I took six hour driving lessons and had Denise as the instructor. Would definitely recommend even when starting from the bare basics of driving. Denise was really kind, patient, and attentive with her feedback and she prioritized safety (first!). I learned and practiced all the turns, parking, and driving on various roads including highways. She was very informative on my next steps after my lessons so I feel confident for my road test.
