The truth is they are lovely people, who are just too old to cut a GIANT SCHNAUZER ? the truth is they are absolutely incredible at their craft to groom your dog. The truth is they were wonderful to talk to and Greg and I had so many talks about life over the years.

They deserve nothing less then 5 stars no matter what anyone says as a crappy 1 off. They made my Layla look so good and I always get so many incredible compliments here’s some money shots.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about You Dirty Dog , I used the mobile grooming service for both my Havanese and my mini Goldendoodle, and I am beyond impressed. Both of my pups suffer from anxiety, so I was a little nervous about how they would handle a new Groomer. To my delight, they did absolutely amazing!

The groomer was patient, gentle, and so kind with them—it was clear right away that he truly loves and understands animals. The convenience of having them come right to our home made the process stress-free, and my dogs were so much more comfortable without the chaos of a busy shop / cages etc.

My Havanese also suffers with terrible allergies and they offered an amazing oatmeal bath, Not only were they calm and happy, but they came out looking fantastic—probably one the best grooms they’ve ever had. Their coats are soft, clean, and perfectly trimmed, and they smell wonderful too.

I’m so grateful to have found You dirty Dog and will definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a groomer who truly goes above and beyond!“

“Annie is INCREDIBLE! So genuine, so down to earth, her passion is dogs and she makes them her life!! She groomed my dog and she looks beautiful. My dog is rambunctious diva and Annie handled her so well. We liked her so much we asked her if we can board our dog with her when we went away and her place is so dog friendly. She never leaves the dogs alone and she is so experienced!
We’ve been to other groomers before in the area, and we’ve experienced unkind groomers so meeting Annie was a breathe of fresh air! I mean met Annie’s sisters and they love dogs and bring their dogs to play too! Such a lovely family and all the dogs well behaved!

“I cannot say enough amazing things about Four Paws. As someone whose dog is genuinely the most important thing in the world to me, trusting people with him does not come easily — but I trust Four Paws completely. From daycare, to boarding, to grooming, every single experience has been incredible.

The staff is so kind, patient, and reassuring. They answer every question I have, call to check in, send updates, photos, and videos, and truly make me feel like my sweet boy is safe, loved, and cared for at all times. Even when he’s not exactly being the “best boy,” they somehow still make me feel like he is.

Ashley especially is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She treats every dog like they’re one of her own, and you can genuinely feel how much she cares. I recently used their grooming services for the first time, and I was blown away by the constant updates and reassurance throughout the process. Seeing videos and pictures of my boy being loved on the entire time meant everything to me.

Their daycare program has honestly been the best $40 I’ve ever spent. I have spent so much money trying to mentally stimulate my Golden Retriever at home, and NOTHING compares to how fulfilled and exhausted he comes home after a day at Four Paws. The convenience is amazing too — I can drop him off on my way to work and my husband can pick him up after.

Boarding there gave me such peace of mind. Being able to watch videos of him, get updates, and know I could reach out with any question at any time made all the difference.

And the BEST part? The second my dog realizes we’re pulling onto Main Street, he completely loses his mind with excitement. I have worked SO hard on leash training, but the second we pull up in front of Four Paws, I genuinely cannot hold him back — he is THAT excited to run inside and see his friends. That alone tells me everything I need to know.

I also really appreciate all the events and photo opportunities they do for the dogs, the safe socialization they provide, and even their kindness to the community. I recently donated some of my dog’s old items there, and anything they couldn’t use would be donated to local shelters in need, which I thought was so thoughtful.

I truly do not have a single bad thing to say. Every experience I’ve had has been positive, and I am so grateful Staten Island has a place like this. If I trust them with my dog, you can trust them with yours too.“
