Brought my daughter here for baylage color and style. I was super nervous because it was her first color process. We booked with Carlos. Carlos is a beautiful soul, he truly cares about his clients and his craft. My daughter’s hair was attended to with great care and attention. Her curls are in tact and she looks even more beautiful to me. I was so impressed by his work that I booked my first curly hair cut. Today I sit here, literally under the dryer and I haven’t felt this beautiful in a long time!! He’s heaven sent!! And I’m def coming back for maintenance and upcoming events!

I took my niece to Hairtage for a curly cut and baylage before school started and couldn't be happier! She's received a ton of compliments on her hair. Alex not only did an amazing job, but I loved that he took the time to really educate us about her hair type, the best techniques for caring for curls, and which products would work best. I really appreciated how thorough and patient he was with us! I can't wait for my turn! Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this salon since they specialize in hair like mine, but my experience was really disappointing. I went in for a curly cut and styling, and the whole process felt rushed. The stylist seemed unfamiliar with my curl pattern, and I could tell they were just going through the motions. I left with uneven layers and a frizzier texture than when I came in. They didn’t take the time to consult me on how I usually style my hair or what products work best for me. In fact, they barely asked any questions about my routine at all. I ended up leaving with a product overload, and my curls looked weighed down and crunchy. I’ve been to other salons that actually know how to work with curly hair, but this was definitely not one of them. I really didn’t appreciate how I was treated as just another client in and out. For the price, I expected much better care and attention to detail. I won’t be returning and don’t recommend it to anyone with a similar hair type looking for a personalized experience.

Quamiah was absolutely amazing. She explained every step of what she was doing for my installation and talked me through how to care for my hair. She took time asking about my hair goals and gave me tips on how to best care meet those goals. The best part was how comfortable she made me feel. This was my first time at the salon and I felt like she was an old friend, she is so kind and funny. I HIGHLY recommend Quamiah to anyone looking to feel more beautiful and have their hair truly cared for.

i’ve been going to this salon for months and i’ve only had good experiences. i got a lighting treatment with Quamiah and she did amazing. she is such a friendly and skillful stylist, i always feel comfortable when she does my hair. Quamiah puts in so much effort and care into my hair, while giving tips on how to maintain it. love her !!

I have been going to this salon for the past five years and I can't even explain the level of joy I feel after being taken care of here. My curls always feel like they come back to life after I go for my curly haircuts. Besides the service being exceptional, all the girls are super nice and they love what they do and it really shows. I love coming here because they listen and care about my hair as much as I do. I totally recommend this hair salon for all hair types, but especially for my curly hair gals.

Highly recommend this salon and Quamiah! she was so nice and also the salon has a really comfy vibe to it. she gave me an amazing curly cut, explained each step for me and gave good recommendations/products for my curly hair routine. I also did the B3 protein treatment and it def made my curls more defined and feel healthier.
