“I cannot say enough about Dil’s and the owner, Heinz. He went out of his way to help my daughter when we had a slight issue at the start of her lessons. He offered an additional hour of lessons to apologize for the small hiccup. He did not have to do that.

When she failed her test the first time due to a terrible woman at the DMV who yelled at my very sensitive daughter throughout the entire test, he spoke to her the whole drive home while she cried, told her she should have passed and that she did great. He spoke to me kindly to explain that she just needs to be calm and he assured me he would not allow that woman to be her tester the next time around.

He took her a second time two weeks later and made sure she did not get the same woman (who she was going to end up with) and my daughter easily passed calmly.

He truly cares about his students and business which makes all the difference in a driving school. In just one day of having her license, my daughter’s confidence is through the roof and I do believe it is how Heinz presents himself.

In addition, Denise in the office was so kind and reassuring after the first go around. She followed through with helping us set up her new appointment and reminded us about everything needed. She was super patient and it is very apparent that she loves her job.

“Safety First Driving School has made me confident that I can drive in New Jersey.
My instructor, Day Stryker, was phenomenal every single time, without fail. We started on the first lesson with general education and skills related to driving, such as knowing where the different controls are and what they do, braking and accelerating, turning, speed control, among other things, such as pre-driving checklists. Additionally, she explained topics from Drivers' Education that I wasn't too confident in, helping me further understand exactly what driving is and what I would need to do. To add on, she was a fun person to be around and extremely easy to get along with. During the second lesson, we moved on to highway driving and parallel parking, both of which I practiced on roads that were suited to my skill level at the time. Day knew exactly what challenges I needed just from that first lesson, and it went a long way in aiding my driving skills. As a bonus, I can parallel park confidently because of her! Finally, on the third day, we went for a bigger highway drive and experienced city driving. Day helped me maneuver through the distractions and hardships of driving in a city such as New Brunswick, skills I'll definitely need as I start driving on my own to important places within the city.

“I passed my road test!!! and it’s all thanks to Greg. He was very helpful and informative when I didn’t understand something. My challenging part on our lessons was the highway I was having trouble with the speed. He told me to go at the proper speed when entering & yield to on coming traffic. We had nice conversations and we went through different cities. If I didn’t have Greg, I would’ve not passed my road test. My favorite part of our lessons was going through different cities and learning the speed limits in each city. I feel very comfortable on the road. Thanks Dina & Greg for the support you gave me.
