I got my silk press done today and it was hands down the best hair service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been natural all my life, and it hasn’t always been easy finding a stylist who truly understands and appreciates my hair without making me feel like it’s “too much” or a burden.

10/10 would recommend. I googled them and was not sure what to expect. I’m happy I tried them out because they make you feel right at home and they do really nice braids that aren’t tight. If you’re in the somerset area please do stop in.
I had an exceptional experience with Niya. Finding a salon in New Jersey that truly understands the needs of a woman of color hasn’t been easy, but Niya exceeded my expectations. She was kind, professional, and incredibly attentive, taking the time to listen to my vision and answer all of my questions. With my alopecia and sensitive scalp, she handled my hair with such care and expertise. I highly recommend her.
