My company recently explored a potential business relationship with Rockleigh Industries Inc, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.
During our interactions, the communication from their representative was not only unprofessional but also dismissive and disrespectful—particularly toward members of our leadership team, including our Accounting Manager and Vice President of Manufacturing; the email exchanges are available if you care to investigate. Despite our efforts to clearly outline the mutual benefits of a partnership, the tone and approach we encountered suggested a lack of respect and collaboration. At one point, it was implied that we were “lucky” to be considered for their services, which is not the foundation for a productive business relationship.
Strong partnerships are built on mutual respect, clear communication, and professionalism—qualities we did not experience in this case. We believe Rockleigh Industries would benefit from improving their customer relations approach to ensure more respectful and constructive engagement with potential partners.
As a result, we have decided not to pursue business with Rockleigh Industries moving forward.
Update in response to business reply:
We have reviewed Rockleigh Industries’ response; however, we respectfully disagree with its characterization of events. Our concern remains centered on the unprofessional communication and lack of appropriate resolution regarding the issue raised. The main issue with the payment is the fact that we called the bank and they couldn't verify the phone number in the invoice provided to us. We contacted Rockleigh representative to rectify this issue but we're shocked and still alarmed by the condescending response.
To be clear, this matter was never about payment terms or financial capability. We have been in business for over 20 years, supplying high quality refractory products at scale to a range of customers including Fortune 500 companies, and we are fully familiar with standard industry practices. We take exception to any suggestion that we applied undue pressure to Rockleigh Industries. Our sole objective was to secure quality materials that meet our production requirements and support a reliable, long-term partnership.
Our concern remains the manner in which our team was treated, which we found unnecessarily dismissive and disrespectful. Nothing in this interaction justified that level of conduct.
Strong business relationships are built on professionalism and mutual respect. Unfortunately, this exchange reflects a missed opportunity on Rockleigh Industries’ part. We hope they will take this feedback seriously and improve their customer relations approach moving forward so that future engagements foster collaboration rather than avoidable breakdowns in communication.

It's always a pleasure to work with a business of this demeanor and professionalism. Everything fit better than we could have expected and we just could not be happier with the Rockleigh Industries team. Highly recommend!

Very good subcontract manufacturer and engineering service company They assisted us with design, create Engineering CAD Drawings, making Prototypes, R&D. They tooled mold and mass produced our several products. Also they helped us to provide product regulatory and safety certification compliance. Thx for great job!
