One of our neighbors gutted her apartment. She said she had a great experience with her contractor. And we could see that in the quality of the renovation. So we asked her for the name and number of her contractor. We called him but he couldn't do our job but did refer us to Rafael Designs and highly recommended Rafael. We hired Rafael to replace our kitchen cabinet doors. We were worried initially because we only noticed the horrible review below after we gave him a deposit. But after meeting him, we felt at ease. He is conscientious, refined, patient and reliable. He matched the color of our new cabinet doors to our existing cabinets almost perfectly, both by color and wood species. When he installed them, his measurements were spot on. Our kitchen now looks almost new and we're thankful we found Rafael. As if this wasn't good enough, while he was at our home, he asked to use the restroom. When he emerged, he noticed that the bathroom door was hitting against the jamb. This was an old issue that I just never got around to fixing. Before I knew it, he had the hinges off, filed down the wood and reattached the door. It now opens and closes perfectly. I don't know if he was in a particularly good mood that day but this generous gesture was greatly appreciated and left my wife and I with nothing but positive vibes. We would absolutely hire him again and I would recommend him without hesitation.
