I don't understand all the one-line reviews . . . I have been helped so much by Generations and by my counselor Vicki Doueck I felt it needed more than a condensed version . . . As I have moved through these later decades of my life it seems like I am always having to add another doctor to my list of appointments; from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, on the outside and on the inside, there is hardly an area that does not need help. One thing I have always maintained is to avoid random choices, and so have made it a practice to do all things by referral, whether from friend or family. For this reason I know for certain that I came to Generations Care & Counseling by this method, although in this case I am at a loss to recall from where the referral came, only to say that I am glad to have been directed there. Vicki Doueck is the third counselor I have seen in my lifetime; I would say that all counselors probably devote 80% or more of their time to listening, which is very appropriate since most clients need a listening ear with no agenda attached. The vast difference I have seen in Vicki’s counsel is that, while my previous helpers would offer suggestions of an almost purely clinical nature, Vicki offers the very significant addition of experience, of having been “in the trenches” during her life, and of a very competent knowledge of treatments and medications. This has given to me a sense of assurance, a strong confidence and trust in what she brings to the conversation. She is supportive without the slightest hint of patronization or popular cultural trends, and this makes her input of great value; I can rely on her to be serious and genuine. My time there is quite well spent, and I can only repeat that I am grateful to have been directed to a place of real help.

In my career in Senior Health Care I have worked with Generations and their Care Management services for many of my clints who required complex care and special needs. Generations has always met those needs with competent, professional and compassionate care.I have worked closely with Pat Linard and her Marketing endeavors, for Generations and I would say that she has continued to promote the company with the utmost expertise and knowledge of her product..
