Rachel is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable in her practice. Her week-before and day-before reminder texts are such a thoughtful touch, especially when life gets hectic, and it's easy to forget details.

I've been seeing Rachel for three years now, and I've never had a bad experience. She always prioritizes my privacy and comfort, which I truly appreciate. I also love that her home-based studio is completely private, with a separate entrance and bathroom—it makes every appointment feel personalized and professional. Highly recommend!

I made a 15-minute mistake on my appointment time. I owned up to it and apologized for my mistake but she still felt the need to be Curt and degrading over the phone on my way to the appointment. When I arrived, she took me right in but told me to use the deadbolt to lock the door behind me. It was odd and uncomfortable. I have never been treated so poorly. I didn't put her behind with her next appointment. There is no reason to treat me that way. To add insult to injury on our first appointment, she ran late. When I called her to tell her I was there she did not respond to my phone call. But I was not nasty I just simply waited for her to call me and let me know when she was ready. I will never go back!

I had a pretty bad ingrown hair problem between my eyebrows. Six months and about six appointments later Rachel had it all taken care of! Her establishment is clean, welcoming, and professional.

Rachel is the absolute best. I am so thankful to have started electrolysis with her. The results are fantastic!

She makes the entire process super comfortable. I couldn't imagine doing electrolysis with anyone else. She is friendly, down to earth, listens to concerns, caring, gentile.. & does everything to make the experience a pleasant one.

I'd only go to Rachel & have recommended her to friends. You would be a fool to not go to Rachel for electrolysis.

I want to start out by saying that Rachel is incredible.  I have been seeing her for a year now and I could not be happier with my results. I was very hesitant in starting electrolysis because I was worried about the side effects (I will get into that later).  Eventually I hit a point in my life where I just wanted the hair gone and that is where Rachel comes in.

Rachel, in a way, has given me my life back.  So many years I was embarrassed and self-conscious about my facial hair.  I was even embarrassed to have her look at my face so closely!  Rachel has been on both sides of the chair, so she definitely knows what all of you are experiencing.   She is very knowledgeable.  She explains the entire process during your FREE consultation.  She tests your skins reactions and your pain tolerance.  She makes sure you are comfortable and will help you to relax if you are nervous.  I even feel like I get a therapy session while she works on my face, she is that easy to talk to!

The process begins with the insertion of a probe into the follicle and down to the papilla, which is the bottom portion of the follicle.  The papilla contains blood, which results in feeding the hair for growth.  A small amount of electrical current is sent to destroy the papilla.  Once this process is done, they will remove the hair.

With that being said, scabbing, redness, and bruising might occur.   I have done extensive research in the possible side effects of electrolysis because that is something I was worried about and what made me wait as long as I did to begin.

I read a previous review where a person experienced bruising. I am not a dermatologist by any means but I do have a medical background and I would like to explain how bruising is a normal side effect and not something to be afraid of.  First it should be known that bruising is actually one of the least common side effects.   All of the side effects (redness, scabbing, itchiness, bruising) a person experiences depends on the person’s skin.  Bruising occurs when the probe affects a capillary, which is a small blood vessel that feeds the follicle.  Some skin types are more prone to this happening.  I experience the occasionally swelling, scabbing and redness. Bruising should not deter someone from the happiness of permanent hair removal.  Bruising is just another natural way the body heals and in no way shape or form determines whether an electrolysis knows how to do their job.  Bruising is nothing to be concerned with.  You have to remember our bodies heal with different processes and  ALL side effects disappear within a few hours.

With all that being said, I would recommend Rachel to anyone who asks me about electrolysis.   She makes me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process.  She is also easy to book appointments with.  Rachel has extensive knowledge in the field of electrolysis and will answer any questions you have.  I actually enjoying going to see Rachel which is funny because who looks forward to getting a needle inserted in them? HAHA.
