“After interviewing 17 GCs, I chose Bergen Remodeling (David) for my addition and renovation project, and I’m so glad I did! Right from the start, David was attentive to my schedule, wishlist and needs to start my project. I can be a little demanding, but he was very patient and offered cost effective designs and solutions to any issues I encountered. You won’t have problems working with David because he’s solved the problem before you can get the words out of your mouth. The quality and dedication to each project is evident throughout the various stages, and his sub-contractors are FANTASTIC. I was very wary about what to expect when working with so many new people, but everyone was friendly, polite and delivered amazing results. (The electrician and his crew are my favorite!) David does an amazing job at handling daily ops, so I really had nothing to worry about. The price was reasonable, it’s a one stop shop (he literally has a guy for everything), and the experience was almost painless. After the completion of my project, I did need a few minor, reasonable adjustments. David and the sub contractors were more than happy to do so, as they stand by their work. “This was our third (maybe 4th) project with OTS. Always pleasant and professional. It’s hard to know what a “fair price” is for a job. My hunch is that we pay a premium for the work done. That work is done with care. For instance, when the job was done there were left-over materials remaining on our drive, including several bags of cement mix. After these items were removed, the workers found our hose and thoroughly washed the dust from the drive. They weren’t asked or expected to do that. That they did was indicative of the service that’s typical with OTS.“

“I inherited a holdover tenant from the prior owner of my building. Finally, this tenant left. Unfortunately, this tenant never took care of the apartment and left it in less than ideal shape. It severely needed a full rehab makeover like you see on those HGTV shows. I needed it done soon by a specific schedule within a certain budget. I did my research and chose 3 local companies around Nutley. One of the three was Ace Remodeling. I told them what I specifically wanted and the timeline. The three gave their estimates to me and I ended up choosing Ace. Danny (the owner of Ace) was prompt, gave me a thorough detailed estimate in writing, and was able to start right away.
I am very thankful that I chose Ace Remodeling. Danny, Ash, and the rest of the crew are earnest, hardworking, excellent professionals at what they do and it shows. If some unforseen minor obstacle arose, which usually does in these type of jobs, Danny came up with the most cost effective way to solve the issue. In addition, it looks nice. I'm nitpicky about minor things and pointed them out to Danny and the crew during the reconstruction. They were addressed promptly and I was very pleased.
The end result after all of their hard, meticulous work was nothing short of spectacular. They finished a little earlier ahead of the deadline, which makes me happy and now I can go rent the apartment out now. Lol, maybe I won't rent it out now because it came out so nice that I might just move in myself.
If you want honest, hard-working, meticulous craftsmen doing your project without any worries..I wholeheartedly recommend Danny, Ash, and the crew of Ace Remodeling. They are worth every penny and you will not regret it.
