I recently discovered Pressed through another client (who has impeccably cleaned/tailored clothing) and I’m SO glad I did. Definitely the best dry cleaners in Ridgewood and area IMO. The team here is so knowledgeable about fabric care and were willing to take time with me to educate me on at home care and dry cleaning for different fabrics/ pieces etc. I love the way my clothes are pressed/ cleaned and the extra quality care they take, everything down to the detail of how they attached tags/ hang clothes etc. they also altered a few pieces for me impeccably and everything was done so quickly. Pressed Fashion & Fabric Care is an absolute gem! I highly recommend them!! I found myself in a last-minute bind when I realized my formal dress for a black-tie wedding needed altering and taken in. It was an older dress, and after calling several places, I was either met with high costs or timelines that just wouldn’t work. I called countless places before finally coming across Impress Tailor.
From the first call, they were incredibly kind, supportive, and understanding. Kasandra, the owner, reassured me and told me to come in so they could see how they could help within my timeframe.
Ayda, the expert tailor, took precise measurements and, with complete confidence, told me they could get the alterations done—and they even finished it earlier than I had asked! On top of that, Kasandra and Julia went above and beyond to fix the torn, very old zipper on my dress, ensuring it was secure and perfect for the event.
Pressed Fashion is a place that truly cares about its customers, delivers expert craftsmanship, and saves the day when it matters most. Kassandra has gone above and beyond countless times! She has worked a miracle on a white dress stained with red wine, made a beautiful butterfly pin from my moms wedding dress, perfectly altered my daughters prom dress and is an absolute pleasure to do business with. Her employees are equally awesome. She is 100% my go-to person.

Unbelievable business. Not only is Kasandra knowledgeable and extremely reasonable, she’s a great business owner. I have been going to her for a few years now and have referred her to many. A few weeks ago, I had a dress that needed to be tailored for a bridesmaid dress and I went to Pressed. I needed to come back a few times, at no extra charge, to get the dress fitted perfectly. One of the times, the dress ended up being too tight so I had to come back. When I came to pick up the dress the week of the wedding, Kasandra ordered me a brand new dress to make sure it was perfect. I was in awe. She truly cares about her customers. Go to her, you will not be disappointed.

Went in to get my comforter dry cleaned yesterday. The lady working told me it would take about 7 days because the store was closing for the week. After speaking with the owner who was extremely helpful, said you can pick it up at 10am tomorrow. I was very thankful they were able to make this accommodation. Later that day I get a call from the owner letting me know that the comforter has been dry cleaned and she was going to deliver it to me at no extra cost. Easily the best dry cleaner around. Incredible customer service and trustworthy. Pressed fashion gained a customer for life!Service: Delivery

I'm not from the area but the drive is worth it! I got my suit pants for my wedding tailored there and they came out perfect! Kassandra was so helpful and understood exactly what I was looking for. It was finished and ready for pick up days later! I've been recommending this place to anyone looking for a reliable cleaners

I debated posting this but I rely heavily on reviews so I feel it’s only fair. I came here strictly based on reviews and regret my decision. I brought my grandmothers 70+ year dress in to be dry cleaned after I had it tailored. It fit me perfectly before I brought it into Pressed Fashion. All I needed was the wrinkles removed from the bottom and a stain removed from the bottom, if they could. I was told that the owner would call me in a 2 days to let me know how long it would take. I didn’t receive that call so I called after 3 days and asked. She said it should be ready within a week. Almost 2 weeks went by and I called again because I was getting nervous. They said it was ready. I picked it up and brought it home to find out it was ruined (2 weeks before my wedding). I rushed to my tailor again and he did his best to fix it but the top was stretched 2+ inches and the waist was also stretched out. In the end, I looked fine on the wedding day and Pressed Fashion refunded me the full amount I paid with no questions asked but the dress will never be the same after what they did.
